A Mystical Walpurgis Night with Witches and Devils
On the night of April 30 through May 1, Bad Sachsa celebrates Walpurgis with a traditional festival in Vitalpark.
Starting at 6 p.m., the grounds of the Vitalpark into a mysterious world full of music, fire, and shadowy figures. Artist Frank Bode will kick off the musical program, and starting at 7:30 p.m., the headlining band Anno-nym will create a lively atmosphere with their energetic music.
As night falls, a special highlight awaits you: a mystical fire show at 10 p.m. that bathes the Vitalpark in flickering light and is sure to give you goosebumps.
Another highlight of the evening is Urian’s performance, as he summons the dark forces of Walpurgis Night with his devilish speech. In addition, mysterious figures from the shadow world of the South Harz are up to no good on the grounds, creating a striking atmosphere. The night will culminate at midnight with the traditional coronation of the May Queen. In addition, impressive stilt walkers parade through Vitalpark, providing another visual highlight.
