The HarzCard

Get benefits with the HarzCard and save up to 40% on your vacation in the Harz Mountains

HarzCard holders enjoy free or discounted admission to over 120 attractions throughout the Harz region. Explore ancient castles and monasteries, visit museums and mines, enjoy cultural events, or relax in thermal and recreational pools. With the HarzCard, you can also ride a number of historic trains and cable cars throughout the Harz region for free.

The right HarzCard for you
The HarzCard is available in two versions
  • The 48-hour ticket is valid for 48 hours from the first time it is used. (The Brocken trip is not included with this ticket type.)
  • The 4-day ticket is valid on four days of your choice within a calendar year (1 January–31 December). The days do not have to be consecutive. Please note that the ticket is valid on a daily basis (not 4 x 24 hours). This option also includes a single journey to or from the Brocken.

48-hour Harzcard:
  • Adults €35
    • Children (aged 5–14) €25
    • Infants (aged 0–4) free of charge

      • 4-day Harzcard:
      • Adults €69
        • Children (aged 5–14) €47
        • Infants (aged 0–4) free of charge

          • Available from the Bad Sachsa Tourist Information Centre and at the Landal Holiday Park.
  • Guest Card ≠ HarzCard

The guest card is not the HarzCard. You will automatically receive the guest card when you pay the guest fee to your host. The guest card also comes with a number of benefits and discounts.

The HarzCard is an additional card that provides discounts in the Harz region. It must be purchased separately.
