Book Booths in Bad Sachsa

Borrow books around the clock—you can do that in Bad Sachsa, too! In addition to the city library on Hindenburgstraße, there are two “book booths” scattered throughout the city. At first glance, they look like phone booths, but instead of a phone, they offer a wealth of literature available around the clock.

With locations on the lower section of Marktstraße (at Uffeplatz) and at Salztal Paradies, they complement the library’s services by offering a 24-hour book exchange for books that have already been read. Books you’ve already read can be left there for the next user, and you can take home new reading material for free.
