Steina Glass Museum
Collection of historical artifacts from the glassmaking era of the 16th and 17th centuries
The Steina Cultural History Glass Museum was founded in 1994 by the Glasmuseum Steina e.V. to document the history of the region’s forest glassworks era in the 16th and 17th centuries. The museum is located in the Steina district and is definitely worth a visit. Under the theme “The Glass Trail,” the exhibition is divided into two sections. Private guided tours can be arranged by appointment.
In September 2010, the Glass Museum was renovated and has been accessible ever since.
